Mrs. Rachel Scurlock

Hello, my name is Rachel Scurlock. I recently got married to my best friend in July. I taught fourth grade in Mississippi before I started my educational career in Lamar County. I was a sixth grade teacher for six years at Vernon Intermediate School before I became Counselor at Vernon Elementary/Intermediate. I am from Sulligent and graduated from Sulligent High School. I attended Bevill State Community College in Hamilton and obtained an Early Childhood Development degree. I furthered my education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I finished my Master's degree in School Counseling from University of West Alabama in 2016. My office hours are from 7:30-11:15. I look forward to a great year.
