I am a 1993 graduate of Lamar County High School. I attended the University of Alabama and received a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have a Master’s Degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama. I have been in education for over 20 years. I am married to Heath Pennington, and we have 2 children, Brooklyn and Kye. I am an active member of Sulligent First Assembly of God.

I am also the owner/operator of Showstoppers Dance Studio where I enjoy teaching ballet, tap, jazz, and Pound Fitness & Zumba. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends
