Coach Byars became director of Lamar County School of Technology in 2019.  Coach Byars was assistant principal at Sulligent High School for 7 years prior to LCST and was at Hazel Green High School in the Madison County school system 11 years prior to Sulligent.  Coach Byars received his Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of North Alabama and his EDS in administration and supervision from Tennessee State University.  Coach Byars has 18 years in education and coaching experience and looks forward to leading LCST to prosper and grow for the students of Lamar County.
