The cosmetology program is designed to prepare a student for a career in the professional care of hair, skin, and nails.  During the training period, the student will learn skills with state-of-the-art equipment and tools which will enable him/her to meet the industry demands for skilled employees.  Other related programs include esthetics, cosmetology training, and nail technician training.

The cosmetology program will prepare students to become cosmetologists, nail technicians, salon owners or managers, cosmetology instructors, and beauty supply sales.

Employment growth for cosmetologists and related professions is expected to be about as fast as the average for all occupations.
