I am Ashley Holman and I am the school counselor for 7th-12th grade at Sulligent. I am from Northport, Alabama and a 2004 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School. My husband and I reside in Hamilton, Mississippi with our son, Rush and our four dogs.

I have had the pleasure of working in education for the past 13 years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Alabama in 2009. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I was a kindergarten teacher and then a first grade teacher with Tuscaloosa City Schools. During that time I earned my Master's degree in School Counseling from The University of West Alabama. I was employed for six years by the Tuscaloosa County School System as a counselor at Cottondale Elementary School.

I believe that school counseling is a team effort among students, their families and school staff. This collaboration is so important in order to help students navigate through high school, the teenage years, and the post-secondary planning. I believe that every student is unique and my mission is to help each student reach his or her maximum potential.
