Cisco Voicemail Phone Instructions

CHECK MESSAGES

  1. Press the "messages" (looks like an envelope) button on your phone.

  2. Enter password (default voicemail password is 123789#).

  3. Follow the menu-driven prompts to set up voicemail (you will need to create a 6 digit unique pin number).

  4. After following the cisco system prompts, you are completed the enrollment process and you can hangup the phone.

  5. A RED light will be illuminated on the headset to notify users of new voicemail AND "You have Voicemail" will be displaced on the LCD screen.

  6. When the red (message) light is lit up - select the "messages" button on your phone and you will be prompted to enter the password you set up in Step 3.

CHECK MESSAGES FROM OUTSIDE NUMBER

  1. Call your work school/office phone number from an outside number.

  2. Press the asterisk * and your extension number

  3. Enter your unique PIN number (it is the 6 digit number you created when you setup your voicemail) and the #.

After going through steps 2 and 3, you will be able to listen to messages off campus.
