Eligibility: Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025 (born between September 2, 2020, and September 1, 2021).

Must be a resident of Alabama.

How to Register: Complete the online pre-registration at prek.alaceed.alabama.gov.

Must upload a copy of the child's birth certificate and proof of Alabama residency.

Important Information: There is no registration fee for First Class Pre-K Porgrams.

No child will be denied participation based on income, sex, race, color, national origin, or disability.

Attendance at the random selection drawing is not required; results will be communicated via email.

SHS Calendar Girl Pageant will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., in the new gym.

Attire for contestants: formal evening gown Attire for escorts: Sunday dress (coat and tie optional)

Requirements: Must be a student at Sulligent School. Girl must have an escort who will also be introduced, but not judged. $30 entry fee.

Categories: PreK - Second Grade Third Grade - Fifth Grade Sixth Grade - Eighth Grade Freshman - Senior

Prizes: Each category will have three "month winners". There will be an Anna Marie Sorrells Congeniality Award and a People's Choice Award Winner.

PreK - Second Grade: Miss January, Miss February, Miss March Third Grade - Fifth Grade: Miss April, Miss May, Miss June Sixth Grade - Eighth Grade: Miss July, Miss August, Miss September Freshman - Senior: Miss October, Miss November, Miss December

Overall Winner: Front Page Cover and her own month.

Each winner and their escort will have a scheduled street wear photo for their calendar photo. The winner will be featured on the front cover as well as her own month.

Calendars will be available for pre-order.

Food Box Distribution will be held at Sulligent High School on Thursday, November 9 from 9am-11am.
